Frequently asked

What committees ask first.

Answered plainly

Frequently asked.

The questions a committee actually asks before bringing a platform to the club.

What is QRID?
QRID is an operating platform for private members' clubs. It runs a club's member social feed, membership and dues, events and ticketing, governance and voting, reciprocal club access, facility bookings, dining and point of sale, and the accounting and finance ledger underneath all of it, on one members-only platform per club.
Is QRID e-commerce or a storefront builder?
No. QRID is not a shop platform. Its public site is the club's own microsite (about, facilities, events, gallery, contact), and its signed-in surface is the member app: feed, profile, membership, events, governance, and reciprocal access. There is no public checkout and no public signup; membership is granted by the club.
Does QRID handle club finances and accounting?
Yes. QRID runs on the KaritKarma Business Kernel, which provides a full general ledger, house accounts (a club's equivalent of accounts receivable), automatic dues billing, and postings from facilities, events, and dining that reach the ledger without manual re-entry. Treasurers get real financial statements.
Can each club keep its own brand and domain?
Yes. Every club on QRID runs on its own domain with its own branding and its own public site. Members sign in once across the qrid.club platform and move between every club they belong to; each club's own domain also serves that club's scoped member app.
How does reciprocal club access work on QRID?
Reciprocity is configured club to club, agreement by agreement. A travelling member carries a digital membership card and can be issued a letter of introduction from the app; the visiting club verifies standing on the spot, and the visit is recorded on the member's history in both directions.
Does QRID run AGMs and committee voting?
Yes. The governance module runs scheduled ballots for AGM and EGM motions and elections, records proxy votes checked against eligibility, and produces an auditable tally from the vote record itself, alongside committee terms and standing sub-committees.
Can members book facilities like courts, rooms, or the spa from the app?
Yes. Rooms, courts, the spa, the golf tee sheet, banquet halls, and the library reading room are each bookable resources with their own hours, capacity, and booking rules. Members book from the app and the front desk sees the same calendar.
How does dining and bar billing work?
The bar and dining room run on a point of sale built around house-account chits: a member's order posts straight to their house account instead of a card machine, and the member receives one statement at month end. Kitchen ticketing, recipes, and F&B costing sit underneath the till.
Who is QRID built for?
Private members' clubs across arts and social clubs, golf and country clubs, yacht and marine clubs, business and professional clubs, sports and athletic clubs, and heritage or alumni clubs. Each club chooses an archetype theme and a module set suited to how it actually runs.
Is there public signup on QRID?
No. QRID has no public signup. Identity on the platform is club membership: a person becomes a member through the club's own application and endorsement process, and the member-only feed and app follow from that membership.
Do members pay to use QRID?
No. Members never pay QRID anything, and there is no membership fee on the platform. QRID is licensed by the club, not sold to its members. Any dues a member owes are owed to their own club and recorded in the club's books; QRID never bills a member and never holds the money.
Can I sign up as an individual?
No. Membership is by club invitation only. You exist on QRID because your club admitted you through its own application and endorsement process. There is no individual account to create and nothing for a member to purchase; the club decides who becomes a member.
How much does QRID cost?
QRID is arranged directly with each club's committee: a one-time onboarding cost and a monthly subscription, tailored to the club's size, archetype, and module set. There is no public price list, no free tier, and no per-member charge. Request a demo and we will walk your committee through it.
